Once again I am incredibly grateful to my longtime client Patrick Giordani for commissioning this gorgeous set of Custom Eye Paintings, one that features his own eyes and another that features the beautiful eyes of his son. This project has been waiting for such a long time and it was thrilling to finally see it come to life!

These beautiful blues belong to the gorgeous Molly Baker! I have an amazing client, Patrick Giordani, who has been supporting me for years. He talked of commissioning some eye paintings and knew he wanted one for his long time friend Molly. When he told me he wanted to have it finished in time for a visit he would have with her in early March I new I had to get it done. As the washes of different colours created opalescent shine and shape around the eyes I had a feeling the piece would be calming and soft. I have to say I absolutely love the results! I am very happy to say that Molly has allowed me permission to sell prints of this gorgeous artwork. I know these deep eyes will have a calming effect on anyone viewing them.

The variety of colour in Molly's skin tone is absolutely stunning; not too mention her striking light blue "ice" eyes add a pop of bright colour. It was such a pleasure to create and I hope the piece adds beauty to the home it will one day hang in.

She wanted me to portray her beautiful little girl Amelie's incredibly blue eyes as well as her beautiful dusting of freckles. As I was putting the finishing touches on the piece I couldn't help but admire the earthy tones of her skin and deep watery blue of her eyes which is where the titled was derived. I hope the piece brings happiness to Nici and her family.

As babies tend to have smoother rounder features I used shadow to create depth; giving the piece a realistic look. I hope the painting brings happiness to Stacey's home.
