Lalique’s Dragonfly
October 2012
Oil Paint on Bamboo Board
6.7” x 12.7”
This artwork was specially made for my sister's birthday present. I chose to do my own representation of Rene Lalique's "Femme-libellule" (Dragonfly Woman) because Meagan and I had the pleasure of seeing the corsage ornament in real life at the Museu Calouste Gulbenkianin Lisbon, Portugal. It was also an obvious choice because Meagan has a fondness for dragonflies and even has a tattoo of one on her calf. I hope she enjoys her present and I hope you enjoy it too!

Courtship Of The Waved Albatross
October 2012
Mixed Media including
Watercolour Paint,
Acrylic Paint, and
Oil Paint on Canvas
12” x 12”
This mixed media art series was created as a gift for my amazing mother, Jennifer Prud'homme. I used my own photography of the adorable waved albatross' that I had taken while volunteering in Ecuador in 2008. Ecuador, like the waved albatross, is absolutely stunning and the culture is very warm and inviting. I was sad to leave but excited to share my photos with my nature loving parents. The adorable albatross couple doing their mating dance and kissing was one of the most memorable moments of the trip. I hope my loving mother feels a sense of peace and warmth when looking at these beautiful birds and I hope you do too.

Stonehenge
July 2012
Acrylic Paint and
Oil Paint on Wood
These four paintings depict the beautiful and mystical Stonehenge. I used my very own photos from my visit to Stonehenge. The experience, which took place during my huge 2010 Europe trip, was one I will never forget. Needless to say, it was lovely to paint these images of Stonehenge and be able to mentally travel back to the amazing site once again.
